What's new for 2008?

For 2008 we welcome back our good friends at Rogers Athletic and their fantastic range of Football and Strength Training Equipment and Field Accessories. We've sold Rogers products for many years but we hadn't included a Training segment on the site since the last major rebuild. Well we're now authorised to sell Rogers Athletic products Worldwide so we now have 15 pages of equipment here on the site. If you're looking for a sled, a chute, dummies or field equipment check these pages out. We negotiate the price for much of the Rogers equipment on an order-by-order basis so if you see something you like drop us a line and we'll be happy to get a price for you including shipping anywhere in the World.

Many of you will have already seen the Revolution IQ helmet info we posted on the site some time back, well we now have pricing and options for the helmets up on the site and shipments have begun rolling out. We're very excited about this upgrade to the Revolution helmet line which ushered in a new era of helmet design and protection for players at all levels of the game. Of course we also have the entire Riddell Football range for 2008 up on the site with loads of new products and many updates to their existing lines.

Our uniform designs are also looking great for the new year/season. We're especially excited about the possibilities for the NEW ZF10- (Dash) Series Basic Sublimate Jerseys. Usually a Basic style jersey would mean just a plain old jersey with nothing much to offer. Not this time! From the unique cut and construction to the possibilities only sublimation can offer this new jersey style is already the foundation of many new team uniform designs! And because this is a "basic" jersey style the prices reflect that even if the quality and look says Pro level all the way! But we haven't stopped there. We have even more ideas rolling out of the computer every day for new styles and new designs. And remember if you have an idea for a uniform design of your very own WE CAN MAKE IT FOR YOU! When we say CUSTOM UNIFORMS we really mean CUSTOM!

Our long time vendors Pro-Tuff Decals have also upped the ante for 2008. If you thought 3D effects on jerseys looked great wait till you see what your helmet decals can look like! And there's loads of new merchandise that you'll find in our expanded merchandise section which has grown from 3 to 8 pages of ideas for your team, league or company!

The Colchester Gladiators "Great British Tailgate Party" and Trade Show staged at The Green Man Hotel overlooking Wembley Stadium in October 2007 was a great success for the Gladiators and for SPPSS. We appreciate all the help the Gladiators gave us setting up our booth and in particular the assistance of Dave Hogarth and Martin Wilmott over the entire weekend. Also we want to thank Mel from The Green Man Hotel on Dagmar Avenue for his assistance and hospitality.
While the NFL are going back to Wembley on October 26th 2008 our circumstances changed early this year and family matters may prevent us from making it back this year. We won't know for sure till the middle of July but it's looking more and more likely we'll be there after all.
